Robotics and Coding Club
At the Robotics Club, kids will work on Arduino-based Robotic designs while learning about electronics & all robot sub-systems in a fun way, kids will be using cells & bricks, gears, axles, DC & servo motors, sensors, and wireless controllers. More advanced designs incorporate the use of Scratch coding (variables, conditionals, loops, etc.), Bluetooth technology, laptops, and tablets to control and have fun with their robots.
On the Coding side, kids will learn how to build their own video games using Scratch and RPG Maker, coding concepts include loops, variables and graphical interphase designing (maps, sprites, battle editors, etc.). At the end of each class cycle students can save their own video games to play them at home and share with friends and family.
RoboThink is a step-by-step international learning program. All levels accepted. New projects on each cycle. Our mission is to provide quality STEM education in Robotics and Coding to motivate children to pursue a future in science and technology (especially girls, children from low-income families, and minorities).
