Technology Adventure

The full-day camps will incorporate “Mobile Technology 4 Kids!” Core curriculum workshops in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering. The full-day camps will also consist of an additional “Technology Entrepreneurship” adventure which will encourage students to engage in the Design Thinking process in order to create their own Technology-Inspired Business Idea. Students will be prompted to come up with an idea that will positively impact their community and to present their ideas in a “Shark-Tank”-like format at the end of camp. At the conclusion of a given Technology Adventure Camp, students will have hands-on experience with the STEM engineering concepts as well as be able to effectively communicate the learning goals that were demonstrated through classroom activities. Students will highlight their learnings and activities in a end-of-camp “Showcase” where parents, admin, and staff will come together to celebrate the students’ achievements for the week.
