Engineering Council, San Diego County
The San Diego County Engineering Council (SDCEC) is a voluntary umbrella organization of engineering societies and engineering educational institutions based in San Diego County and its nearby areas. The SDCEC is a non-profit public service that promotes the health and awareness of local engineering societies and their engineering events, outreach and volunteer needs.
The Engineer's Week San Diego Awards Banquet is held annually during president's week, generally in the 3rd week in February, in honor of engineer and president George Washington. Local engineering achievements are celebrated through Engineering Honor Awards recognizing individual engineers / educators / leaders and projects that benefit the community.
