After School Enrichment

Catch a breath of fresh air at the Discovery Center Tuesday- Thursday for After School Enrichment. Space is reserved for 12 kids in grades K-5th. 

What does a typical day look like? Students participate in theme related activities, games or crafts which are unique to each week. Plus, they go on nature walks, and meet our animal ambassadors. 

Where does programming take place? Outside! The Discovery Center uses its 4 outdoor educational nature nodes with the exception of indoor restrooms, and inclement weather. 

Can't make it here by 2:30pm? No rush! Just let us know ahead of time. We understand schools dismiss at different times so we are flexible in scheduling lessons and activities throughout the After School Enrichment programming time between 2:30-5:30pm. 

Missed or can't attend one day or week of programming? No problem! As long as there is space, registrations will be on-going from week to week. Cost will be pro-rated or credited for the missed days. Otherwise, registration is for the month.
