Monthly Bird Walks

Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation

We have monthly bird walks with Rick Grove. Rick Grove has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Economics, as well as a Masters Degree in Education, and has been an avid bird watcher since 1983.

Additionally, he is a member of the San Diego Field Ornithologists. In 2015, he observed an outstanding 300 species of birds in San Diego alone!

Meet at the Discovery Center (1580 Cannon Road, Carlsbad CA 92008) at 8am then follow Rick Grove to his trail of choice that day around the Agua Hedionda Lagoon.
