Ellen Potter Research Connections for Teachers Symposium
This year the 5th annual Ellen Potter Research Connections for Teachers Symposium is going virtual! Join us on Saturday, October 24th from 10a-12p PDT for an exciting FREE virtual professional development opportunity for middle and high school science teachers. This year’s theme is “Visualizing Science: Bringing science to life in a virtual world,” focusing on how technology can be used to advance research even during a pandemic!
The event will include a presentation from Salk scientist Uri Manor and a demonstration from Salk’s Waitt Advanced Biophotonics Core! Educators will then have the opportunity to collaborate to bring what they learned back to their students and explore related virtual lab simulations.
